T.M. Souders studied psychology and Women’s Studies at Youngstown State University. After receiving her degree in 2004, T.M. Souders went on to publish her first book called Waiting on Hope in 2011. The novel is about a young woman named, Lexi Dodson who lives her life in the fast lane, but soon regrets it. In a 2012 interview with the blog, Caddy Rowland: Slice of Life, T.M. Souders revealed that she started writing the novel in college. In the same year the book was published, the author released Dashing Through the Snow. The novel presents readers with two characters, Wynn Murphy and Zane Anders who go on an exciting adventure of love.

In 2012, T.M. Souders released another novel called Freedom Road. The story is about a character named Samantha Becker who struggles to pursue music. Samantha has to endure opposition from a father who tries to control her life, as well as others who try to stop her. When she finds herself in a situation that may prevent her from achieving her dreams, Samantha is faced with a life-changing decision.

Souders released a new version of the novel in 2012 and renamed it Better Than This, which won several awards. Better Than This was a finalist in the USA Book Awards for Young Adult Fiction in 2012. In 2013, it was a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Awards, also for the Young Adult category. Better Than This was also a quarter-finalist (second place) winner in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards.

T.M. Souders' most popular work includes an adult novel called Prelude: An eShort Prequel to Freedom Road. Prelude tells the story of a little girl whose dreams become shattered because of an accident involving her and her family. The novel was published in 2012. In 2013, an anthology containing Souders' novels was published.

What's in store for the future? Souders has been looking into doing interviews with businesses. It's different then what she normally writes about, but she wants to give non-fiction work a try and believes interviewing business owners would be interesting. She's taking suggestions, but is planning on interviewing SellThatCar.com. It will give a unique look into the daily life and struggles of a used car dealer in San Diego.

T.M. Souders resides in Ohio with her husband and kids. She is working on more great books to release and thanks her fans for their continued support!
